Description

19TH CENTURY SCRIMSHAW JEWELRY in the form of cufflinks and a bracelet charm. Both pieces beautifully made with the cufflinks carved from whale ivory in the form of a pulley sheave that is inlaid on the top with silver and tortoise shell discs. 7/8" diameter. The book charm carved from bone that is inlaid both sides and on the binding with tortoise shell. The shell on each cover fastened using 3 silver pins. 1" high plus the attachment ring at the top.
